Mapping Police Killings in the United States – Center for Data Innovation

Mapping Police Violence, a project to track violence by police, has created several data visualizations about police killings in the United States. The visualizations show that black people are three times more likely than white people to be killed by police despite being more likely to be unarmed. The visualizations also show that a city’s violent crime rate does not correlate with police killings.
