Minister Fedeli tours MMRI with demonstration from award-winning Mac Eng student – Innovation FactoryInnovation Factory

Vic Fedeli, Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, visited the McMaster Manufacturing Research Institute (MMRI) to explore the cutting-edge innovation in advanced manufacturing at the university.Fedeli toured the MMRI laboratories on tue alongside Stephen Veldhuis, MMRI director, who described how the world-class institute finds solutions for complex manufacturing challenges in the province.The minister paused to engage with students as they worked on solving real-world challenges across various manufacturing processes.“The McMaster Manufacturing Research Institute is having a tremendous impact on Ontario’s economy. It was great to see first-hand the work they’re doing as part of Ontario’s Advanced Manufacturing Consortium in supporting Ontario-Made projects and helping make our province open for business,” said Fedeli.
