The Qilin Technology Innovation Park exemplifies a new and progressive approach to Chinese urbanism, creating a holistic district identity and memorable spaces on a human scale.

Interconnected office floors within the design’s towers and lush, landscaped courtyards, promenades and roof terraces express the project’s goal of increasing moments of connectivity in the daily lives of the neighborhood’s office workers, researchers and residents.

This Silicon Valley-inspired district creates a 24/7 mixed-use urban research hub. Consistent with the city’s larger plans, the design comprises two blocks within the new development’s central business district.

The architectural composition creates a clear district identity, with buildings composed of two primary façade systems and a series of large-scale sectional profiles.Visible from the adjacent park and the distant high-speed train, these profiles recall the distinctive roof profiles of the region while also creating terraces and elevated communal spaces in the project’s .The design creates a series of engaging public spaces, retail corridors and park landscapes to foster a lively and activated pedestrian experience.
