Networking over Breakfast with Innovation Broking

Yesterday we attended our first Business Breakfast, which was organised by Innovation Broking and hosted at Marshall’s Skills Academy. We joined over 20 local business leaders at the breakfast, which was held for networking, learning and fundraising purposes. Speaking at the event was Jonathan Marlow, Director of Innovation Broking, Dan Edwards, General Manager of Marshall Skills Academy, and our very own CEO, Rebecca Wood. Rebecca spoke about how the group could come together to support a Tom’s Trust family. Also joining the Business Breakfast from Innovation Broking was Relationship Manager, Sarah Gleadell who said: “I am very excited and proud that Innovation Broking has thrown their full support behind Tom’s Trust, which is very dear to my heart. We have offered a partnership with Tom’s Trust, to build an Exclusive Business Leaders Group, bringing together a select group of our personal contacts, to grow strong relationships and discuss opportunities to work together. We will meet informally over three breakfasts, while looking to raise a total of £3,335 – the amount it costs the charity to fund a clinical psychologist to support one child and their family for a year.” Innovation Broking is an independent commercial insurance broker, specialising in board level advice and risk management services for larger UK based companies.
