New home in the USA for KWPN approved stallion Innovation
The KWPN approved stallion Innovation has recently been sold to the United States of America.
The striking Van Gogh son has made a promising start at De Wiemselbach for both sport and breeding, and that has not gone unnoticed on the other side of the Atlantic ocean.
The Horn family has sold the promising eight-years-old Van Gogh son with mixed feelings. “We have always had a lot of faith in Innovation and he is developing positively. Just like himself, his oldest offspring also combine a beautiful conformation with a lot of jumping talent”, says Daan Horn.
“Through our contacts in the United Staes, there was very serious interest for Innovation and that, certainly in the current times, is of course something you should always consider when you run a professional stable.
In addition, we will have his sire Van Gogh still available for breeding at our studfarm and we have also some other sons of him that we can offer for breeding in the future.”
The Oldenburg bred Innovation (ds.Contendro I) was approved for the KWPN studbook as a three-year-old and he scored 80.5 points in the performance stallion test. Afterwards, Innovation received a praising progeny report based on his first foals.
“Innovation was now performing on 1.35m level and is ready for the bigger classes.
We certainly hope to hear from Innovation in the future! And in the meantime we have several young talents at our breeding station with whom we also look forward to the future with great confidence.”
De Wiemselbach will be offering new talents such as Corlou (s.Cornet Obolensky), Lord of Farming HS (s.Balou du Rouet) and Donthargos (s.Don Diarado) for the upcoming season.
