OBSERVATIONS: 2019 Signs of Innovation Bone Stock Season at Sunset Speedway – Short Track Musings

From the first green flag of the season to the last checkered flag flown, it was certainly an exciting second year for the Signs of Innovation Bone Stocks at Sunset Speedway. There were lots of battles back and forth on a weekly basis, with a touch controversy to spice things up, and a couple different faces gracing victory lane along the way.

With all of the results tallied together, here is the final statistical observation piece of the season.

0 of Joe Dunlop won a pair of features en route to championship glory

1st is the best average finish of any driver, set by Kyle Neumeister and David Rockwood. They only ran one points paying event each

2nd is the second-best average finish of any driver, set by Kyle Fetterly, with a runner-up on June 8

2.4 is the third-best average finish of any driver, set by Ryan D’Antimo, across 10 features

2.8571 is the fourth-best average finish of any driver, set by Matt Boyes, across seven features

3.5 is the fifth-best average finish of any driver, set by Phil Givens, across two features

3.8182 is the sixth-best average finish of any driver, set by Dunlop, across 11 features

4th is the seventh-best average finish of any driver, set by Mark Dennis and Curtis Young. Dennis ran two events, while Young made a single appearance on August 31st
