Daniel Faber, Orbit Fab’s Founder and CEO, remarked, “Jacob Geer’s appointment marks a significant milestone for Orbit Fab as we escalate our efforts to dominate the in-space refueling industry globally. Jacob’s leadership in space sustainability and policy will be invaluable to our mission.” Geer has notably led initiatives on Space Sustainability, Debris Removal, and Space Surveillance, and served as the UK Space Agency’s Chief of Staff, bolstering his reputation as a leader in space policy and sustainability. Geer expressed his enthusiasm about leading Orbit Fab’s UK division, emphasizing the critical role of in-orbit refueling in advancing space sustainability and the exploration benefits it unlocks. “Joining Orbit Fab’s leadership team presents an exciting opportunity to expand our refueling capabilities into the UK and European markets, promising significant contributions to space sustainability,” said Geer. Dr. Paul Bate, Chief Executive of the UK Space Agency, praised Geer’s contributions and leadership, expressing confidence in Geer’s continued impact within the UK space sector. Orbit Fab’s UK operations have seen remarkable growth under Manny Shar, expanding the team fivefold and fostering innovation within the space industry. The company is currently exploring new talents to join its dynamic team, reflecting its ongoing investment in the UK’s technological advancement and leadership in space. “Manny Shar’s strategic insights have been fundamental to our UK operations’ success, and his new role will be critical in aligning Orbit Fab’s strategic direction on a global scale,” Faber added.
