In many countries around the world, inventions and innovations are often referred to as the ‘best thing since sliced bread’ by way of assessing their impact on our lives. Personally, I wouldn’t give sliced bread such a high position in the great scheme of things but, anyway, innovation is a wonderful thing.

As far as real money online poker is concerned, innovation is of particular importance. With so much entertainment available nowadays, and thus so much pressure on online poker operators not only to make their offering competitive with non-poker products, but to put their own, individual stamp on the online poker landscape, new ideas are key.

Our 2022 Pokerlistings Operator Awards allow us to give credit where credit is due on all things online poker, and the latest category to come under the microscope is Best Innovation. Poker fans can be an interesting lot, and at Pokerlistings we understand that our community consists of all kinds of players, each with their own view of what makes the ideal online poker experience. Different strokes for different folks, as they say but, ultimately, some new ideas and innovations will prove more popular than others…
