Registration opens for Med-Tech Innovation Expo
Registration is now open for Med-Tech Innovation Expo, the UK and Ireland’s leading showcase for medical design and manufacturing technology. Free-to-attend, this exciting event brings together the medical engineering and manufacturing community; more than 200 companies from all areas of the medical device supply chain engaging with 4,000+ visitors across 2 action-packed days.
For the first time, the event will be held at the NEC, Birmingham. The move was announced during the 2018 expo and means a larger show with more exhibitors and exciting new features focused on medtech, medical plastics, digital devices, pharmaceutical manufacturing technologies and early-stage innovations. The expansion of the event is reflected in the conference and seminar programme which will now be held across three stages.
With vastly improved accessibility both for UK and international attendees, the organisers are anticipating a step-up both in overall visitor numbers and also in the percentage of those attending from abroad. Holly Delaney, marketing manager for the event said; “We’re so excited for Med-Tech Innovation Expo 2019. There’s so much on offer in a bigger space with better travel links, more accommodation and even more of the high-quality exhibition stands our visitors have come to expect. We’re in one of the largest and fastest-growing industries in the world, its time our community had a show on the scale it deserves.”
As in previous years, the event will feature new product and company launches alongside live demonstrations of the latest machines, technology, applications, materials, products and services. Attendees will also benefit from an enhanced conference and seminar programme, learning from thought-leaders across the Med-Tech Innovation Conference (produced in association with Medilink UK), the HealthTech Stage and brand-new Med-Tech Introducing stage.
Returning show favourites include the GTMA Pavilion, the Medilink UK Pavilion and Inspex – a focus on the challenges and opportunities for metrology and inspection within the wider healthcare industry. New for 2019 will be the Acceleration Zone, a feature designed to help take new ideas and organisations to the next stage by presenting the latest innovations, research projects, start-ups and spin-outs to the wider market.
Med-Tech Innovation Expo brings together designers, engineers, innovators and manufacturers from all corners of the medical, pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors to source products, explore new ideas, understand emerging technologies and do business. The solutions on the show floor will help them design the next generation of medical and pharmaceutical devices.
Med-Tech Innovation Expo will be held in Hall 2 of the NEC, Birmingham (UK) from 15-16 May 2019. Attendance is completely free, find out more at www.med-techexpo.com
