Senior Innovation Consultant

• You are fast and highly flexible, and have a high tolerance for ambiguity and pivoting priorities.
• You’re digitally savvy and ideally ahead of the curve in terms of your understanding of digital trends and emerging technologies (AI, IIoT, Blockchain, etc.) and can easily describe them to others.
• You have a proven work ethic and unwavering integrity.
WHAT YOU DO
You will play an important role in inspiring our clients to address a broad range of complex transformation challenges based on our customer-centric innovation approach and participate in the evolution of our offering.
• Prepare and run Innovation Center visits to present CGI and partner solutions to our clients.
• Provide advice and guidance on ideas, innovations, and technology solutions to a wide spectrum of clients across multiple industries.
• Prepare and execute client workshops using innovation-related frameworks and tools (e.g. Design Thinking, Business Model Canvas, etc.)
• Work closely with various industry sectors to support innovation initiatives with their clients.
• Develop and utilize industry-specific and cross-industry knowledge.
• Assist the Director of the CGI Innovation Center in shaping and prioritizing innovation objectives and collaborate across businesses units, geographies, and/or enabling areas to determine the priorities for the center.
• Contribute to thought leadership and actively engage and encourage customer participation in innovation initiatives.
• Develop effective working relationships with senior stakeholders (internally and externally).
• Prepare and deliver compelling customer presentations.
• Facilitate the sharing of ideas via existing CGI collaboration tools.
• Build relationship with innovation communities.
• Promote a positive working environment and creative thinking.
WHAT YOU BRING
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent work experience (MBA is an asset).
• At least 5 years’ prior work experience in consulting services (ideally within a consulting firm) and/or IT management/integration/innovation.
• Demonstrated boldness and seeing beyond the current way of doing things.
• Ability to independently design and execute client visits and workshops.
• Ability to be a self-starter and continuous learner-willing to research and acquire new skills to get the job done.
• Ability to prioritize and navigate through conflicting priorities in a fast-changing environment.
• Ability to foster business engagement.
• Sound knowledge of new technologies such as IoT, AI, RPA, etc.
• Experience with innovation governance (Design Thinking experience and expertise is a strong asset).
• Experience in requirements gathering and solution ideation.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French (essential).
Location
• The Senior Innovation Consultant will work in CGI’s Montréal (Quebec) offices.
