Smart Regions Innovation, Resilience & Recovery Virtual Workshop – National Association of Regional Councils

When catastrophes strike, neighborhoods everywhere are tested, needing a huge quantity of effort from local and regional leaders. In the consequences, those leaders need to shift focus from short-term reaction to long-term recovery. Communities then seek to utilize information and clever developments to ensure they remain durable for the next public security difficulty.

This is the focus of the upcoming Smart Regions Innovation, Recovery, and Strength Virtual Workshop on October 29-30, 2020, hosted by the Global City Teams Obstacle (GCTC) Smart Regions Collaborative, the National Telecommunications & & Details Administration, the National Association of Regional Councils, and US Spark and sponsored by the National Institute of Standards and Innovation. GCTC Smart Regions Collaborative promotes wise city and community jobs that cross jurisdictional limits to develop effectiveness, improve sustainability, and increase quality of life for all residents.Participants are welcomed

to sign up with discussions covering best practices in clever regions investments and collaborations, navigating equity concerns throughout a catastrophe, regional data sharing, special problems dealing with backwoods, the education and health reaction to disasters, and an appearance at a more resilient future that clever areas tasks can assist us accomplish. In addition, local panels highlighting teams that are active within the Smart Regions Collaborative will talk about experiences with their own efforts and how innovative thinking has helped communities become more resilient.This event is open to everybody and free to go to.
