A day-long summit on Nov. 10 will check out essential patterns and emerging technologies in migration law and practice.
The 2020 AILA Technology and Development Summit, presented by the American Immigration Attorney Association, guarantees to unite thought leaders, technology influencers and immigration law professionals to offer insight into the existing state of practice, what to look for, and how to shape the future of migration practice.
Keynote speaker for the conference will be Margaret Hagan, executive director of the Legal Style Laboratory at Stanford University, who will explore the future of development and innovation’s impact on the legal profession.
Another featured speaker is Rick Klau, an attorney by training who just recently left Google after more than 13 years, where he was most recently on the operating group at Google Ventures, and was earlier an item supervisor on Blogger, Google+, and YouTube.
The conference will also consist of a virtual exhibition hall.
Till Nov. 5, the registration cost is $325 for AILA members and $525 for non-members. After that date, rates increase to $375 for members and $575 for non-members. Lower rates are readily available for law students, paralegals, federal government workers and not-for-profit attorneys.
