Syngenta to Build New R&D Site To Focus on Innovation

DOWNERS GROVE, Ill.– Syngenta revealed strategies to construct a brand-new R&D Innovation and Client Experience Center in the heart of the U.S. Corn Belt.

The 90-acre site will be located in Malta, Ill., DeKalb County, about one hour west of Syngenta’s international and North America Seeds offices in Downers Grove. The website was chosen for its area, soil type and ease of access, and will offer facilities for massive occasions and engagement with growers on corn and soybean innovation and innovation.

Building and construction on the Northern Illinois website is anticipated to begin early next year with the site set up to open by the end of 2022.
