The Retail Technology Show and the BRC join forces to spotlight the importance of innovation in retail
The Retail Technology Show, a leading trade event for Europe’s most forward-thinking retailers and top tech innovators, and the British Retail Consortium (BRC), a go-to trade association for UK retailers, have announced a strategic partnership to highlight the role of innovation in driving the future of retail.
The Retail Technology Show’s mission is to advance the industry through innovation and showcase the technologies necessary for retailers to succeed in the face of economic challenges, increased competition, and evolving sustainability efforts. The BRC has long been a proponent of technology’s role in helping retailers meet new challenges and opportunities, and its Digital Transformation Change Program aims to bring together best practices, data, and insights from its 200+ retail members and technology solutions providers.
The partnership will be marked by the BRC leading a keynote session at the Retail Technology Show, taking place in London on April 26-27, 2023. The conference program will feature 100+ retail leaders, tech experts, and industry leaders discussing the most pressing topics in retail, with Andrew Opie, Director of Food and Sustainability at the BRC, discussing key sustainability questions retailers should be asking themselves in 2023, and Dr. Kris Hamer, Director of Insight at the BRC, joining a panel discussion exploring the key innovations impacting retail today and in the future.
Helen Dickinson OBE, Chief Executive of the British Retail Consortium, said, “We welcome our new partnership with the Retail Technology Show and look forward to supporting its fantastic event in April 2023. Retail is a fast-paced, innovative industry which relies on new technology and ideas to constantly improve the way it meets the needs of its customers. We hope this partnership will complement the BRC’s own digital transformation change programme, which aims to support the retail community in better meeting the digital needs of its customers and clients.”
The Retail Technology Show will bring together the brightest minds in retail with the most transformative technologies, offering a one-stop-shop for innovation with 300+ innovators showcasing their solutions across an expanded show floor. The event is expected to attract 8,400+ retailers, providing a valuable opportunity for retailers to stay ahead of the curve and incorporate cutting-edge solutions into their designs.
