This two-day course hosted by Duke’s CASE i3 Initiative on Impact Investing focuses on deploying capital for women and girls, covering topics including fund and deal selection, impact management and portfolio improvement.

The NC IDEA SEED grant program offers a select group of early-stage startups $50,000 in funding before they seek future investments. Recipients will also receive mentorship from NC IDEA and access to its network of investors and business leaders.

Applications are open for NC IDEA’s MICRO grant program. Funding of up to $10,000 will be awarded to early-stage companies seeking to validate and further develop their ideas. Recipients will also receive mentorship from NC IDEA and access to its network.

Big Launch Challenge

This year’s Big Launch Challenge will be held at the Angel Capital Association’s Southeast Regional Meeting. Ten select startups will have the opportunity to pitch their ideas to investors and potentially land funding from The Launch Place’s pre-seed and seed funds.
