Under the Dome | FY 2023 Is in the Books but Accountable Innovation Goes On!
June marks the close of fiscal year 2023 at ServiceRocket, making it the perfect time to revisit some of our recent accomplishments.
We grew our global Atlassian presence. This year we brought our Atlassian expertise to new customers across LATAM, EMEA, ANZ and SEA.
“With our new or expanded offices in the Philippines, Malaysia, India, the UK, Chile and El Salvador, we’re serving both local markets and our global customers,” notes Adam May, Vice President, Services, “and we’re working even closer with Atlassian worldwide to ensure our customers experience maximum business results from our combined solutions.”
And we launched an important video. ServiceRocket’s leadership team explains how our customer-centric approach enables companies to succeed.
Wonder who that is under the helmet? Watch for more videos in the coming months.
We opened new digs in Manila. Our NetSuite #ShareTheKnowledge experts in Manila, led by Lea Columna, Senior Director, Partner Success, celebrated the opening of a new office.
“The team is delighted to have a space where we can foster learning, collaboration, creativity and innovation,’ says Lea, “driven by ServiceRocket’s commitment to creating a world-class workplace.”
And we connected in person. Post-COVID, it was great to get back on the road, see long time friends and make new ones at Atlassian Team ‘23, SITS 2023 in London, Pulse 2023 in SanFrancisco and at multiple Atlassian user groups around the world.
As always, our multiple guitar giveaways were a big success. Ed Chung, the winner at Atlassian Team ‘23, had a blast.
We deepened our AppFire relationship. Following the acquisition of a portion of our app portfolio earlier this year, our Appfire partnership continues to flourish. This April we showcased our end-to-end ITSM solutions at SITS 2023 in London with the Appfire team.
“Our ongoing Appfire relationship reflects a mutual commitment to the Atlassian ecosystem,” says Peter Marquez, Chief Customer Officer, “and demonstrates how we collaborate to create value for our customers.”
And we welcomed a new CFO. This Spring we said hello to Joy Mbanugo, ServiceRocket’s Chief Financial Officer. With 20+ years experience, her mission aligns with our values and Leadership Behaviors: “Push people to their limits to achieve ultimate success and challenge cultural stereotypes.”
We launched SFX 2.0. We work continuously to create more value for our customers, partners and fellow Rocketeers. 2023 marked the release of SFX 2.0, a program designed to elevate the customer experience.
This Rocketeer micro-training combines interactive sessions, best practices and resources based on the ServiceRocket promise. Kudos to everyone who developed this curriculum.
And we climbed the walls (in a good way). Rocketeers in London recently took advantage of free entry to a nearby rock-climbing gym. It turns out that climbing together is the perfect way to physically demonstrate our brand promise: #WeGotYourBack.
We increased our HackWeeks. Six months into instituting our Accountable Innovation best practices, we’ve ramped up the pace of our biannual HackWeeks. “Our Accountable Innovation and Solution Lifecycle moves us from ideas to products to business more efficiently,” notes Azwandi Aris, Executive Director, Product Management.
“We’re building momentum and generating more product concepts than ever before,” adds Kai Fung Chong, Lead, Software Engineering. Under her leadership, HackWeek 23Q4 was a great success. Recent HW winners ideated new innovations for Jira, JSM and NetSuite.
And we completed our pyramid. The recent launch of the Scholarship & Learning Allowance fulfills our Rocketeer Focus Pyramid, which visualizes our unified global benefits strategy.
Years in the making, our completed Pyramid marks an important milestone. Congratulations everyone!
Finally, we watched in awe. ServiceRocket’s fearless brand ambassador and the first African-American female pro-triathlete achieved a notable BHAG in June by finishing Comrades 2023, the 55-mile (89 km) ultramarathon. Even for this elite athlete, it wasn’t easy!
Asked if she’d do it again, Sika was quick to add, “I still would.”
Her fortitude inspires us all to stay the course in FY24!
