(USA-MA-CAMBRIDGE) Business Model Innovation Principal / Associate Principal
**Your Role and Responsibilities**
We seek an experienced consultant who has a demonstrated track record of advising clients on complex issues relevant to business strategy, growth, and ecosystems. The successful candidate will:
+ Engage with C-level and senior Kyndryl leadership and a broader external ecosystem of participants to identify and mature new business models that have the potential to advance our business.
+ Lead diverse, cross-functional teams to move business models from concept to design to implementation.
+ Apply framework-led approaches to distill key insights, demonstrate economic value, develop business cases, and formulate business model recommendations.
Kyndryl’s Business Model Innovation organization is responsible for engaging with a broad internal and external ecosystem to design, pilot, and implement new and innovative business models. These business models are designed to target new value propositions and expand the total value that can be created for our customers, our partners and Kyndryl. Innovation in these models focuses on business and operating structure, related-to, but usually distinct from technology and services innovation. They embody Kyndryl’s commitment to distinctive customer outcomes, aligning Kyndryl’s success with that of our customers and using a risk / reward construct between Kyndryl, its customers, and potential third parties. We believe that successful customer outcomes will drive more value for all parties in the long-run and will deliver enhanced value and revenue to Kyndryl.
If you’re hired into New York City work location the compensation range for the position, $195,000 – $300,000. Your ultimate compensation may vary depending on your job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately.
**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
+ 4+ years as a business strategy consultant, with a demonstrated track record of advising customers. Business strategy experience within a corporation or in developing new products, especially in the tech industry, is also valued.
+ Strong communication skills, including the ability to synthesize large amounts of information to create compelling narratives for executives (e.g., in PowerPoint), as this position has visibility to senior level management.
+ Ability to run projects and to lead a team of internal and external participants from multiple constituencies. Ability to build relationships with Kyndryl executives and ecosystem partners.
+ Ability to develop a deep understanding of the Kyndryl business model and the IT services market (key technologies, innovation trends, opportunities, etc.).
+ Experience with value generation models in at least one industry.
+ Excitement for the role, a bias for action, a strong work ethic, and the ability to deliver under pressure against tight deadlines.
