**POSITION DETAILS**
The University Office of Admissions Services at The City University of New York (CUNY) seeks applications for a University Director of Enrollment Solutions and Innovation. Reporting to the Executive Director of Admissions Services, the Director will lead the division’s bold transformation into a data-driven culture. In this newly revamped position, the successful candidate will work collaboratively to build, optimize, and enhance the admissions processes and recruitment tools, thus manifesting the University’s vision as a student-centered institution.
The Director of Enrollment Solutions and Innovation will provide strategic direction in the advancement of a shared vision for the overall technical architecture of admissions systems. This dynamic individual will lead the intersection of strategic decision making with enrollment analytics via modeling, systems, and CRM management, championing the role of technology in achieving the University’s ambitious enrollment targets.
In addition to the CUNY Title Overview, typical duties will include but are not limited to:
+ Collaborate with leaders and key stakeholders to develop an integrated organizational information technology strategy for Enrollment systems
+ Lead the ongoing development and management of admissions technical solutions using PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, CRM, and other related platforms; provide project management of new implementations, upgrades, and initiatives.
+ Identify patterns in data and industry trends that inform enrollment decisions and recommend, develop and implement improvements to advance unit effectiveness
+ Drive strategic alignment and partnerships with functional and technical peers and leaders of Enrollment Management and Computer Information Services
+ Work with all units in Enrollment Management to augment the unified student experience across all digital touchpoints.
+ Analyze operational needs of all users and identify opportunities in functional areas to improve or leverage system processes.
+ Prepare procedural documentation and end user training. Serve as resource expert on enrollment practices to resolve complex issues
+ Build a team to define and shape CUNY’s technology strategic vision for Enrollment system
NOTES
Candidates will be required to provide proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 upon commencing employment. Being fully vaccinated is defined for this purpose as being at least two weeks past their final dose of an authorized COVID-19 vaccine regimen. Final candidates must be fully vaccinated as of their first day of employment. Exemption (medical or religious) requests to this requirement will be considered in accordance with applicable law.
Until further notice, this is a hybrid position, eligible to work remotely and in the office.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
Bachelor’s Degree and eight years’ related experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Master’s degree in a related field
+ Professional experience in the higher education and/or admissions and recruitment context is strongly preferred
+ Advanced analytical skills in data management; a thorough understanding of how to gather, codify and analyze data to create reports to inform decision-making
+ Expertise with admissions and/or enrollment technical platforms, specifically CRMs, DegreeWorks, PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, and others
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills
+ Experience in writing reports using advanced reporting tools
+ Strategic, tactical and operational planning and execution across systems to enhance recruitment and admissions to meet enrollment objectives
+ Demonstrated ability to be flexible and multi-task in a fast-paced team environment and consistently meet deadlines
**CUNY TITLE OVERVIEW**
Directs one or more centralized enrollment functions and related data, systems, communications and technologies
– Administers centralized functions supporting enrollment management activities
– Evaluates outcomes and formulates responses to meet established goals and objectives
– Analyzes and presents performance results to inform and recommend executive decision-making
– Recommends and implements enhanced technology applications and systems to improve data integrity and record management and reporting
– Oversees various university enrollment and retention initiatives and special projects
– Works closely with campus enrollment management directors and staff to ensure CUNY policies and reporting requirements are followed and maintained
– Manage professional and clerical staff as well as department budget
– Performs related duties as assigned

**COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS**
Annual salary starting between $111,560 – $124,656, commensurate with education, credentials and experience.

**IMPORTANT NOTICE: Health Plan Coverage for Employees Hired on or after October 1, 2022**
City of New York employees and employees of Participating Employers and their eligible dependents hired on or after October 1, 2022 will only be eligible to enroll in the Emblem Health HIP HMO Preferred Plan and must remain in the HIP HMO Preferred Plan for the first year (365 days) of employment.
After 365 days of employment, the employee will have the option of either remaining in the HIP HMO Preferred Plan or selecting a different health plan within 30 days before the end of the 365th day period. If a new health plan is selected, the new plan will be effective on the 366th day. Only after the 365th day can the employee participate in any Annual Fall Transfer Period.
An employee who needs to request an exemption from the required enrollment in the HIP HMO Preferred Plan can do so by submitting a HIP HMO Opt-Out Request Form to Emblem Health. An employee, or eligible dependent, must meet certain criteria and the request must be approved by Emblem Health before the exemption is granted. The HIP HMO Opt-Out Request Form and HIP service area are available on the Emblem Health website.
