vivo Ghana: Bringing you quality smartphones, servicing, and flagship innovation
The global smartphone market has become a lot more competitive in the last decade and a half. While the period has witnessed the rise and fall of specific major names, it has also seen the emergence of the ‘flagship killers’; smartphones with flagship capabilities at a mid-range cost. Names such as OnePlus, vivo, and Xiaomi occupy that space and this article would focus on vivo Ghana; the quality Chinese smartphone brand intending to make the Ghanaian market its home in Africa.
vivo Ghana: The origin
vivo Communication Technology Co. Ltd. is a Chinese technology company owned by BBK Electronics in the year 1995. Aside from designing smartphones and related accessories, the company develops software while offering other online services.

Other significant moments came in 2018 when vivo launched Jovi; its AI Assistant service; and again in 2019 when the commercial 5G device was launched. 2020 saw it make an entry into the Ghanaian smartphone market.

With over 200,000,000 users, vivo is one of the most preferred smartphone brands for young people, not just around the world but as you’ll soon discover, in Ghana as well. This is due to its dedication to creating an extraordinary life for young consumers with products that combine elements of style and technology.
vivo has four smartphone series; the vivo V series, Y and X series and NEX; and currently, vivo Ghana is entering the market with four (4) models of the Y-Series being promoted. They are:

In October 2015, vivo became the title sponsor of the Indian Premier League with the 2-year deal extended until 2022. They also signed a sponsorship deal with FIFA to become the official smartphone brand of the 2018 and 2022 FIFA World Cups.
The year 2019 saw them sponsoring PUBG Mobile’s PMCO, with a $100,000 prize for the overall winners. Aside from that, vivo has continued to be visible in eSports spaces.

With vivo Ghana, you won’t have to worry about that at all. Why is that? vivo came prepared, and they have their service centres where you can get your smartphones looked at should there ever be a problem.
