Anchored by the new campus of Dixie Technical College, Tech Ridge is a marvel of modern design. Take Zonos, for example, a cutting-edge software company that has repurposed an old airplane hanger as its headquarters. Right next door is a new commercial park being built from converted shipping containers. The facility will encompass both office and retail space and is expected to be complete later this summer. “One of the things I love about Tech Ridge is how they go outside the box with their thinking,” Callister said. Located on the former St. George Airport site overlooking downtown St. George, the 180-acre Tech Ridge master plan redefines the modern urban center. This mixed-use development was designed to draw innovative tech companies, amplifying their ability to attract and retain top talent. Along with residential housing, the planned mix of workspaces, shops and eateries will promote a dynamic social lifestyle, including 60 acres of easily accessible trails, parks and open space. It’s all within walking distance and surrounded by the striking red cliffs of Southern Utah. “I love these projects like this that are master-planned out,” Callister said. “This is going to be a huge project overlooking the city.” Catch up with everything that’s happening at Tech Ridge in this episode of “What’s Going There.” Copyright St. George News, SaintGeorgeUtah.com LLC, 2024, all rights reserved.
