The seminar was attended by select educated youth of both genders who described youth umemployment as today’s problem number one particularly in Muslim states.

Co-Chairman of JKJFF Mr Altaf Hamid Rao reminded the participants that acquirement of knowledge was obligatory in Islamic economic thought, but sorrowfully Muslim states are far behind in meeting this obligation. Future rests with modern education central in it the spread of tech education, he pointed out.

Chairman Shaheen Alvi suggested that the OIC should set up via its platform an Econo-Industrialization Commission to help constituents of the OIC states for acceleration of modernizing their social and industrial economies. There is no dearth of tech experts in OIC countries but their services for domestic utilization are not taken full benefit of; perforce the tech manpower shifts to comparatively developed economic states, he added.
