Home care software company scoops Innovation of the Year award

Home care software company Unique IQ is finishing 2019 on a high after picking up the Innovation of the Year accolade at the North Worcestershire Business Awards.

The Redditch-based technology firm has been recognised for its innovative software solutions, which are helping to improve the daily working lives of carers within domiciliary care organisations, and in turn supporting the provision of better social care to the people who need it.

The
software company was selected from over 50 of the region’s best businesses at
the inaugural awards, which took place at Kidderminster’s Hogarths Stone Manor,
and were hosted by the BBC’s Midland’s Today presenter Joanne Malin.

Amongst Unique IQ’s innovations this year were developments to its digital care management software, which is helping home care agencies transition from relying on paper-based, manual processes to harnessing the power of innovative digital tools.

New technology is designed to care workers up-to-the minute information about the people they care for at the touch of a button within Unique IQ’s IQ:timecard MOBILE app.

Managing
Director David Lynes, said of the award: “I am immensely proud that we’ve won
this award for Innovation of the Year. It’s encouraging recognition of the
team’s efforts to deliver innovation to our clients, and to make a genuine
difference.

“I’m
so happy for the whole team. The people we have at Unique IQ are amazing and
they truly deserve the recognition.”

Unique IQ’s award for innovation comes hot on the heels of being named Business of the Year at the recent Birmingham Awards.
