Line-of-Business Editions of SAP Innovation and Optimization Pathfinder
WALLDORF — SAP SE (NYSE: SAP) today announced the release of line-of-business editions of the SAP Innovation and Optimization Pathfinder service, providing customers with insight into business performance and areas of optimization for specific lines of business.
“Data from ERP systems can provide tremendous insight,” said Wassilios Lolas, global head, Customer Value Experience, SAP. “For example, in the finance function, data could indicate the number of times your company has made a delivery without sending a bill, or the number of times a customer payment is overdue. These data trends can provide tangible recommendations to help companies run better.”
The editions cover six lines of business – finance, sales, procurement, manufacturing, asset management and supply chain. Recommendations are provided in plain English, making all information understandable to both IT and non-IT decision-makers. Each line-of-business edition report includes:
- Areas for optimization: Recommends how specific lines of business can improve processes and take advantage of current SAP ERP software. The pathfinder contains benchmarks against industry peers for business KPIs.
- Customer-specific innovation opportunities: Identifies gaps in an organization’s digital core across lines of business and recommends tailored solutions to extend or move current capabilities to more advanced systems.
- Industry insights and best practices: Highlights opportunities for digital transformation based on industry trends specific to a line of business, allowing businesses to gain competitive advantage.
The line-of-business editions of SAP Innovation and Optimization Pathfinder are available free of charge to SAP customers and partners that have a maintenance contract with SAP. For more information, please visit .
