Outreach and Support Coordinator|Library Development Lab

You’ll take the lead in sharing and supporting WATER, our platform for open legal textbooks and
other resources. You’ll be the bottom line of contact for professors utilizing H2O at Harvard, and you’ll be deeply included in
our efforts to work with associates at other schools and libraries to support widespread use of WATER. You’ll likewise be
working closely, in an editorial capability, with a small number of faculty authors preparing print versions of their open
books.

In addition to your deal with H2O, you’ll be a fundamental part of the team working to support Perma.cc, our web archiving
service, and to adjust it to critical new usage cases, such as fact-checking and journalism.

The essence of this job is communicating with people who use the software application we build. You’ll spend many of your time
talking, in one form or another, with individuals we serve and guaranteeing that the rest of our group comprehends their requirements
and interests. You’ll use a variety of different interaction techniques: everything from one-to-one e-mails to focus group
conversations to video tutorials to blog site and social media posts to conference presentations to updating our online
documentation.

As a member of LIL, you’ll also have the chance to add to other impactful projects and to pursue your own
research, experiments and expeditions, which we call sketches. We’re happy of our big projects and the effect they
