We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Developer to join our team, who can innovate and shares our passion for building rock-solid systems. These are exciting times, and you have an incredible opportunity to work with us in building a cloud platform from the ground up. This position will work with the Development Operations squad, the Test Integration coordinators and also collaborate across the entire Cloud Lab development organization. The Senior Test Automation Developer will have direct focus on designing a continuous integration test process, building the test tooling and integrating it in to DevOps build environment for Cloud. The right person will be an excellent communicator, a strong team player and will be schedule-driven. **Location: This is an office based position in Austin, TX, Littleton, MA or Poughkeepsie, NY** **Required Technical and Professional Expertise** + Experience managing Software test automation and tooling + Hands-on experience with software development languages including Python, django, javascript + Knowledge of automated test frameworks and test harnesses for deploying test suites at various stages of the deployment life cycle + Minimum 3 years of experience with agile development + Minimum 3 years of operational knowledge GitHub and Python + Knowledge of REST API and Swagger specifications + Experience understanding of Linux / UNIX core fundamentals including command-line operations and scripting (BASH) + Experience with a continuous integration, continuous development environment (CICD) and tools such as: GitHub and JIRA **Preferred Tech and Prof Experience** + Experience designing and building dynamic cloud-native applications + Experience with Kubernetes and Google Go + Knowledge of databases connecting to test tools as backend server, development to capture test result data and query + Experience with Elasticsearch + Knowledge of Cloud Operations and Cloud Operating Systems (Open Stack, AWS, Google, MS) + Experience performing competitive evaluations of industry leading open test framework solutions **EO Statement** IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
