Wearable innovation at CES 2021 – The PHA Group
For more than 50 years, CES has been the stand-out event in the calendar for consumer technology and all things innovation, with businesses travelling from all around the globe to attend and showcase their latest products. But this year due to the pandemic, for the first time ever, we will see the world’s largest consumer electronics show take place completely online, and as the saying goes ‘the show must go on’.
So far almost 2,000 companies from around the globe have signed up to exhibit at the show that kicks off today and runs until January 14.
This year, Verizon Chairman and CEO Hans Vestberg will deliver the CES 2021 kickoff keynote address which will focus on 5G.
One topic which has been popular amongst companies looking to exhibit at this year’s show has been Fitness and Wearables, which highlights the advances in sensor technology, smart fabrics, activity tracking and extending connectivity.
We’ve taken a look at five wearable businesses who are pushing the boundaries of innovation.

For example, Inpulse will be launching their first product later this year which are cycling shorts that have sensors embedded within the material that detect movements within the body, meaning that users will be able to analysis their own performance and see any imbalances they might have within their muscle groups.
As previously mentioned, Inpulse are due to launch their unique cycling shorts in a just a few months’ time and we’re expecting the brand to be a massive hit with fitness enthusiasts.
